2010 New Furniture/Special Feature Items (outside)

• A special part of the Furniture and More  auction starts at 10:30 a.m. when new furniture items, including pieces from Maplelane Wood Products (Listowel ON), Donald Choi Canada Limited (Waterloo ON) and Mennonite Furniture & Gifts (Cambridge ON) will be sold.
• Following the furniture sale a few special feature items will be auctioned.  Items include:

Mink Teddybear

This exquisite mink teddy bear was lovingly created and donated by Sue Gueguen of Bears Am I  in Shakespeare ON.  www.bearsami.com  Sue artfully designs each bear using the fur, lining, buttons and even lost-in-the-lining necklaces in her motion-arm-and-leg masterpieces.

The Last Supper  -- Hooked Rug

This 7 foot by 10 foot hooked rug took many, many hours of work to complete.  Thank you to Roberta Fryers, Helen Bacon and Ruthie Charter for sharing their work of art with us.

Dollhouse 

This beautiful dollhouse was created this winter by Ross Shantz, chair of the Board of Directors of Ontario Mennonite Relief Sale Inc.  It is a 7 room Vermont Farmhouse  Jr. doll house measuring 24"W x 17"D x 30"H. 

Steel Craft Items: 

Check out these metal yard ornaments crafted by Jim Arthur of Kenilworth.  They are sure to beautify your lawn or flowerbeds!  

Outdoor Playhouse:  

6’x8’ playhouse built and donated by Roy Brubacher and Willard Martin and friends. The interior has pine walls, mahogany ceiling and painted plywood floor. The exterior is pine ship lap siding, cut to scale. The front porch has a painted floor, pine posts and vinyl railings. The roof is asphalt shingle, also cut to scale. Inside dimensions are 6’x6’ plus a 2’x6’ loft accessible by a ladder secured to the wall. Outside height is 9’ from the ground to the peak. Roof is 7’x9’ with 6” eaves and soffit all around. Donations for the project were from: MarSpan Home Hardware Building Centre (Drayton ON),  RMW Aluminum & Vinyl Siding (Elmira ON), Handcrafted by Willard (Elmira ON)
