Pieced

This is the fifth quilt donated to the quilt auction that has been created from a stash of fabric donated by an anonymous person, to Zurich Mennonite Women. The inspiration for this quilt started with the large printed oriental fabric. Wanting to keep the oriental fabric in the large blocks made a long search for the right layout design. Finally a small picture of a quilt, "Letters from Japan" a block of the month kit, being sold by "Missy Moo Cottage Crafts" in Australia, provided the inspiration. This was a "Silver Nutmeg" design used with permission.
