The New Hamburg Mennonite Relief Sale
Bringing Help and Hope to those in Need Around the World
For more than 50 years, our sale has brought volunteer supporters and businesses together with buyers who care about poverty, peace and global needs. With over 40 venues supported by 2,000 volunteers, the relief sale is a remarkable community event and a beautiful expression of community compassion.
Since 1967, over $14,000,000 have been raised, with more than $300,000 annually for more than 25 years. All proceeds go directly to the Mennonite Central Committee(MCC) for non-for-profit relief, and to demonstrate God’s love by blessing people around the world.Learn More >

2020 NHMRS FEATURE Quilt
Louise has been sewing vibrant colours into her quilts for over 25 years.
Her friends encouraged her to put a quilt into the New Hamburg Relief Sale 16 years ago, a small crib quilt. That quilt raised about $300 for the Mennonite Central Committee and Louise has had a quilt in the Relief Sale every year since.
This year’s quilt, “Fire Island Hosta Queen”, is a very special one. “I wanted it to be a significant quilt,” Louise explains. “It’s the centennial year for MCC and I wanted to honour that by making something really special.”
