NHMRS and COVID-19 Update

The safety and well-being of our community are of the utmost importance to us.  In light of this, the NHMRS committee has been meeting to work on contingency planning.

Promo Dinner: The promo dinner scheduled for April 27 will not occur on that date. We are investigating alternative dates and/or events to make up the ~$20,000.00 funding shortfall. If you have sold any tickets, please offer a refund or a tax receipt for the purchase price. If a tax receipt is requested contact Bev Klassen at reliefsale.treasurer@gmail.com. Please do not throw out the tickets. We may reuse the tickets for a different date.

May 29 and 30 sale: We are moving forward in the hopeful expectation that the sale will take place but will be using the next few weeks to investigate all options for rescheduling or changing the format of the sale. By April 9 we hope to have a clearer picture of a path forward.

In this time of great uncertainty, we are called to dig deeper into our faith - to fix our eyes on God. We believe this is a time to recommit ourselves to care for our neighbours and act generously – whether in our own homes, across the street or around the world.

We covet your prayers for the NHMRS committee, MCC leadership and staff, and for the most vulnerable among us, both locally and globally, who will be the most affected by the impact of COVID-19.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or suggestions (info@nhmrs.com)
