Embroidered & pieced

The completed embroidered blocks were purchased at the 2012 Relief Sale in the Home and Craft Tent in the UFO section. I brought the blocks to the nearest fabric shop to match them with fabric to bring all the blocks together and the Women in Missions at Poole Mennonite Church purchased the fabric for backing and quilted it. I hope the person who first brought the blocks to be sold appreciates the finished project. I wanted to give the quilt back to be sold because I wanted to support MCC and all the programs they have to help those in need around the world.
