 Your gift supports families like Sofiane’s. Sofiane is just two years old. When MCC’s partner first met him in Burkina Faso, he was severely malnourished. His mother feared for the future, yet felt helpless to heal her son.

Then Sofiane’s mother attended a food and health program in her village, facilitated by MCC. She happily took Sofiane to be assessed. Through this program, Sofiane received nutritious food and his mother was taught about maintaining healthy diets for her whole family. Through MCC, Sofiane’s family received canned meat to supplement their meals with much-needed protein.

Today, Sofiane has gained a healthy amount of weight and is a much happier child. Through this program, hundreds of families received nutritious food and had their children's health checked.
