The quilt top was made by S-J Mallough. Ruth has a passion for Jenny Beyer fabric and I have a passion for friendship star blocks. When Ruth asked me to make something for the MCC Relief Sale with her Jenny Beyer fabric - what could be more appropriate than combining her passion for the fabric and my passion for the friendship star block? To add to this, our friendship is like a ribbon winding in and out of quilting and encompassing all aspects of our lives. Thus the Ribbon of Friendship was born.
