Each year, I try to make a point of donating a quilt to the Mennonite Relief Sale. I tend to make rather smallish ones, but this year I went all-out small with a miniature quilt. Final sale price $525.

It started out as a sketch for a bed-sized quilt, but I found myself wondering if the folded-patchwork method I intended to use for the triangles would also work in miniature. A few test units proved it was doable.

Next thing I knew, the 2" x 4" triangles I had intended to make were instead 1/4" x 1/2".
