In our fast paced busy lives we as Canadians sometimes feel our lives are so demandingly pressured. We have so much, yet we wish for a bit more, peace, rest, money, vacation. But then we stop and think about the needy, less fortunate, hungry, sick and dying. That prompts us to put our best efforts into a small donation like this quilt to donate to MCC, knowing and confident that it will be valued at the auction as a dollar-collecting cause. This quilt holds many memories of classroom setting sewing, as I taught numerous classes on embroidery set-up and editing. Friendships gained while quilting for a cause are priceless. We have enjoyed it as a show piece and has served our business well.
