Story

I made this quilt when I was living very far from home in the snowy town of Athabasca, Alberta. I had just gotten my first job after graduation and had very little money. I started a GoFundMe page to buy the fabric for this quilt. Many friends and family members helped out. Their names are embroidered on the back as is the Hawkesville Mennonite Sewing Circle, who did the quilting. It was so nice have this reminder of everyone who helped me when I was so far from home. I am very glad to be back.
