Pieced, Whole Cloth
Marked wholecloth was in the fabric collection passed on from Mildred Ziegler, who is deceased, to her daughter-in-law, Donna Ziegler. Too small for a bed quilt but too large for a crib quilt, it was decided to be the center of a bed quilt. Black, mauve and peach panel fabric was purchased at New Hamburg MCC Thrift Store and became the inspiration for bordering the whole cloth.
