"I Spy" Nine Patch

In 2006, months after our first grand-daughter was born, my husband and I were visiting Australia and New Zealand, and I was on the lookout for fabrics from these countries to make an "I Spy" quilt. For this pattern, the search for fabrics is endless since each block only takes a small amount of fabric, but fabric cannot be repeated twice. And so, the search continued after I returned home. This "I spy Nine Patch" quilt uses fabrics left over from the project, as well as some of the unused "piano key" border blocks.
