Salvaging Twogether is a result of a group project by the Waterloo County Quilter's Guild. The project was designed and facilitated by Marsha Clarke and Marilyn Farquhar. The membership was taught how to assemble selvage yardage in two defined colourways - black and red. Then, kits were prepared for the membership to sign out for both the block assembly and reverse appliqué, utilizing the selvage in the centre of each leaf. The top was assembled along with the appliqué of vines and the prepared leaves over the pieced top, creating wonderful visual interest. The extensive machine quilting was completed by Marilyn Farquhar which creates a great textural finish.
