Two friends with a love of quilting and a wish to give back to our communityﾅthe 48th annual New Hamburg Mennonite Relief Sale 2014ﾅcould you ask for a better paring? We have found the charitable organization this is the perfect fit. We now have purpose for a year of Tuesdays, brainstorming design, colour, sharing stash, cutting, piecing and pressing. Combined with the long arm talents of New Hamburg business Jennifer Schumm, Quilting by Design, "Sense of Spring" became a reality. We never imagined what this journey would give us, the joy of sharing our talent, the giggles, as well as a new friend and quilt team member Jennifer. 2015 here we come! So begins another year of colour, fabric and friendship.
