The safety and well-being of our attendees, volunteers and community are of the utmost importance to us. In light of the current public health crisis, the New Hamburg Mennonite Relief Sale (NHMRS) organizing committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the much-loved and much-anticipated 2020 NHMRS in its regular format.

During these times of uncertainty, Mennonite Central Committee (MCC)  needs our support more than ever, so we are investigating alternatives including online auctions, mini-relief sales and virtual events and would love to hear your suggestions. Please send them to info@nhmrs.com.

MCC is well-positioned through its ongoing work to address the threats of COVID-19 for some of the world’s most vulnerable people, including people displaced from their homes. Where possible, MCC is scaling up water, sanitation, hygiene, health and food work. The closure of thrift shops and the cancellation of several spring relief sales will significantly affect MCC’s funding.
