Story

I originally made this quilt for my niece in England as she used to own funky chickens like these. In fact, "Dumbledore" is still alive! She breeds dogs and having seen the damage they can do nesting, we sent her a jelly roll instead. Bev Bechtold taught me this workshop for "Stack and Whack" at Carol Miller's store in St Agatha before 1999 when we moved to New Brunswick. We think that the chicken quilt will be a hit in Waterloo County and hope that it makes good money for MCC. -Penny & George Kraemer.
P.S. This quilt won a ribbon for best pieced large quilt at the Pioneer Museum Show in Dade City, Florida in 2015.
