The quilt top was made by Salome Bauman. St Jacob's Quilt Shows has sponsored a "Block Challenge" every year for 20 years. Quilters from the surrounding area make blocks which are then made into a quilt to be donated to MCC. The quilt is always hung at the St Jacob's Schoolhouse Theater during the Quilt Festival in May each year.
