Just over two years ago our group of "Grannies", we are all grandmothers, began meeting on Monday nights to make our quilts for the New Hamburg Relief Sale while learning how to piece quilts better. Louise Miller leads the group with Cath Woolner, Jean Ann Jutzi, Liz Klassen being part of it since the beginning. When Sharon Ghent is available, she joins us. Peggy Roth has recently joined us. "Grannie's Night Garden" is our first quilt. We look forward to making and donating more quilts to the Relief Sale. We are grateful that First Mennonite WMCEC quilted our quilt.
