Beth Good, who volunteered at the New Hamburg Thrift Store, discovered the quilt blocks and embroidery floss in a donation to the thrift store. She bought the quilt kit and asked Wilma Good (her sister-in-law) if she would like to embroider the blocks. Once the blocks were done Beth and her daughter Maribeth assembled the quilt top and completed the quilt to donate back to MCC.
