Story

I have wanted to make a proper lone star quilt since I started quilting. I made a lone star variation called "Supernova" for MCC in 2014 using Kaffe Faussett's Bis Bay pattern. Then, as now, I love a colour gradient. I made this quilt by improv piecing strips at fabric in shades of light yellow moving into shades of dark blue, with green in the middle. I made this quilt a bit more complicated than it needed to be but I love the final result.
