Story

This is a true scrappy quilt! The inspiration for it was a large collection of 2" squares left over from a colour-wash wall hanging made about 20 years ago. The fabrics in the rail blocks are from log cabin projects. The white background strips were cut and pieced from the bits left over from a twister quilt. Since the pattern called for 2 1/2" squares and strips, I needed to improvise as I went, making sure it was large enough.

It gave me great satisfaction to dig into my stash of leftovers from previous projects to create something brand new and to play with colour combinations. I hope the buyer finds as much pleasure in it as I did in creating it!
