We are a small group of friendly quilting ladies who meet monthly in Shakespeare.

In the fall of 2020 one of our members, Marilyn Holden, lost her battle with cancer. Marilyn was a great friend and quilter and we certainly felt her loss.

Her husband donated her 'stash' of fabrics to her quilting club friends. Now what do we do to honor the memory of Marilyn? Make quilts, of course.

Because of pandemic restrictions we were limited to how and where to meet. Quilt top kits and patterns were taken home by members and we produced several quilts, using mostly Marilyn's fabrics.

These quilts are made with the love and respect we felt for our friend Marilyn.

We donate these quilts to the 2022 NHMRS in her memory.
