Diane Cressman was a great hand crafter, taught by her mother, Erma Cressman. Diane had expertly completed these cross stitch panels a few or more years ago, sewed them together and donated the quilt top to Stirling Ave Mennonite Church WMA to be hand quilted for the Relief Sale. Due to Covid the WMA could not meet for the last 2 years so it was farmed out to an independent quilter Cathy Potvin.

Diane enjoyed seeing her completed quilt for a few months before she died quite suddenly in Jan 2022 of a heart attack.
