I love Myra Harden's book "Urban and Amish" and I have made several quilts based on her designs. I wanted to use the Rail Fence block to create the large stripes she formed in her Horizontal Lines quilt but just using shades of a single colour.

This quilt makes me smile and I hope it brings a smile to its new owner.
