The beautiful fabrics came from Grace Bauman Weber's stash. She has done some lovely work over the years piecing multiple quilt tops. The majority of the fabrics which she donated spoke to me of quilts made in the late 19th century and a simple design such as the "Nine Patch" was a good choice to set them off.
