When I was young, my mother made a comforter top like this - crazy path with rail fence stitch embroidered along the seams. She used scraps from dresses made for my sisters and I. This quilt is made from my dress scraps plus a few of my granddaughters'. I did a lot of the embroidery stitching while travelling along on the milk truck with my husband.
