I added yellow to this grey and white quilt to add a little sunshine to this 2nd COVID year. I have never purchased fabric on-line so I was surprised when there was green in the yellow and brown in the black. That is what batik fabric is about, but you don't see it in the small sample that is shown.
I was inspired by the tutorial from Missouri Quilt Company. Their quilt was scrappy, but I ran into problems immediately with the pattern and ended up making mirror images of my original 9 patch in order to obtain triangles surrounding the square in 4 different colours.
