Embroidered

Idella Schwartzentruber pieced many many quilts in her 97 years. Her final project, after she moved to a retirement home at the age of 96, was this cross stitch embroidered block quilt. Her desire for each of her projects was that it be given for relief. The blocks of this quilt were passed on to her by an acquaintance and unfortunately one of the blocks is a slightly different shade.
