This little quilt has been a favourite of mine since I made it in 2001. I never imagined I'd be giving it away someday. When the subject of the Relief Sale quilts came up, I was disappointed in myself to have to admit that I had no contribution this year. I have donated a quilt every year since 1997, and really do feel privileged to be part of this wonderful event. With the deadline only days away, an idea suddenly came into my head - that I could donate one of the small quilts in my collection. Where did this thought come from? It cannot have been my idea. How can I part with even one of my treasured little creations? The answer, of course was simple. At any given moment, someone, somewhere, needs relief. I must not skip a year.
