Pieced & embroidered

It is fitting that the sale of this quilt supports MCC. Dorothy Snider was a tireless worker for MCC as director of Self Help Crafts, Ontario and buyer for MCC Canada. She was active with the Waterloo County Quilt Show Committee. Dorothy's hands were always busy and embroidery was a favorite past time. Dorothy embroidered the blocks for this guilt and purchased the sashing, but due to effects of ALS was unable to complete the task. Dorothy Kinzie sewed the top together and marked the quilt and it was hand quilted by the Fidelias WMS group at Preston Mennonite Church.
