Pieced

Shortly before her death, my friend Darlene Clay, gave me a bundle of batiks. She had chosen them to make an article of clothing but suggested I use them instead to make a quilt. Darlene had many, many friends, those from her book club, her cycle club, Probus, those she traveled with, sang with or watched movies with. I have named this quilt "Darlene's Circle of Life" in celebration of her many interests and the friends she made in her joyful journey through life.
