This quilt was inspired by two books, Celtic Style Floral Applique by Scarlett Rose and Jacobean Rhapsodies by Patricia B Campbell and Mimi Ayars. I rarely made a quilt exactly as it is shown in a book or pattern. I worked on this quilt from 1997 to 2004. Please note that this quilt does not have equal borders on all sides, only on three. The pillow area has a different accent pattern with grapes.
