This beautiful piece of background fabric was donated to the quilt auction by Linda Peel Devitt from Oakville Sewing Centre.

It begged to be made into a piece using Carol Ann Waugh's Stupendous Stitching technique including couched fibres, hand & machine embroidery, lace and beads.
